My ping spikes when charging

Recently, my laptop started to lag a lot every couple of seconds when I played any games, from Steam games to Roblox games and even games on the web like Deep.io. It started happening after the charging port got messed up. I have an Aspire 5 (and from the reviews of others, the charging port breaks easily, so now I use the C connector). My internet is fine, and I tried restarting and updating my laptop, but nothing seemed to work. I wanted to know if anybody knew how to fix it.
