Guest BrewskiBill Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 I haven't bitched at MS in a while, but tonight deserves one. - Why does Microsoft get to REPLACE my home page with a banner add about IE8 BETA? I don't care if it only comes up once every x loads - stop it. It's infantile and obtrusive (especially for a Beta product). - When did the Microsoft website become so unfriendly to submitting feedback about their products? I mean, you have to login to send an EMail fur chrissakes?!? You guys should be begging for feedback (more opportunities to make BETTER products) and not worrying about tracking where it comes from. Or are you that desperate to get people to use Login Live (or Hailstorm or Passport or whatever it's called this year)? - Live Search still doesn't. Go to Microsoft Help & Support and type "provide feedback to Microsoft" in the search box. Three hits, none useful. Typing the same thing at Google got me to these Community pages ... go figgur. This is one time when the old joke about waiting for version 3 isn't going to fly, and since MS can't just buy the G-folks, that doesn't leave a whole lot of options, does it? - There's no Product Community for Internet Explorer? So much for it not being a part of the operating system. And believe it or not, I make my living using your products (MCDBA, MCSD, MCSE+I). Sigh ... MS - get your head out of your butt, take a deep breath so that some oxygen can get up to your collective brain, and see if there is any common sense left in your collective arsenal. Barring that, clone the Excel & SQL Server teams and let them do all of your new development.
