Guest lb Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Well 5 days later, Mozilla is now allowing this update for 98. I therefore recant my earlier jeers and say hooray. Hopefully the support will continue.
Guest Dan Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 RE: Firefox 2.0.0.17 It is currently scheduled for termination in the middle of December 2008 for end of life for Mozilla Firefox 2.x. Hopefully, Mozilla will consider extending support for 2.x into the year 2009 especially if Mozilla Firefox 3.x is not fully ready. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html from the website: Download Firefox 2. Firefox 2.0.0.x will be maintained with security and stability updates until mid-December, 2008. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to Firefox 3.
