Can a GPO put users monitors into standby?

 

 

We use Windows 2003 AD

You canb't control power settings directly via Group Policy that I'm aware

of. Try posting in microsoft.public.windows.group_policy for more help,

however.

Hello Cyborg,

 

If you have at least one 2008 or vista machine, with RSAT installed, in your

domain you can use Group policy preferences to set power options or power

schemes via GPO. You have then just to install the Group Policy Preference

Client Side Extensions:
