Why is the download option unavailable on all movie apps (netflix, hulu, etc)? I just bought a new pc and this feature is not available across the app

I just purchased a PC and started downloading apps. The apps work fine and play shows. However, there is no option to download a show or movie. It is the same across multiple apps and all movies and shows I hace clicked on. It seems an issue with the computer not the app.Thanks!
