The computer is a Medion model PC MT 7

I hope you can help me, I have an old Canon 8mm camcorder, I've connected it up to the computer via the yellow video socket

and the other lead into the audio

 

I'm using nero capture changed settings to PAL UK

and I've tried some freeware ones but I still get

the same B/W picture & no sound

These's some video of my son on there who no longer

Lives we me so I'd like to put them on DVD and send them

Hi and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help.

 

I don't know that model of camera but suspect it is analogue and not digital output.

What if any is the graphics card you have?

you may even be better off obtaining an analogue to digital converter that plugs into a USB port, you should then be able to record that to a DVD once converted.
