Guest Louise Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Have just downloaded recent holiday photos and have renamed each photo with caption. I wish to burn them to a cd, but when I do, it changes the order of images to alphabetical, rather than keeping it how i arranged them. How can I stop this?

Workaround: Insead of calling the image "Aunt Margorie eating candyfloss" try: "01 Aunt Margorie eating candyfloss" etc, (the leading zero is important if you don't want the first 9 images being distributed throughout the rest.

The order isn't fixed - just click on View > Details in Windows Explorer and sort by whichever column takes your fancy (size, name, date etc). For a custom order, however, that is none of the above (eg most favourite to least favourite), you will need to rename the photos (or copies of them) before burning to CD as M.I.5¾ details, then sort by name when viewing.
Guest Gord Dibben Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Re: order of images You can go to this site and follow directions for renaming. http://www.papajohn.org/MM2-OrganizePictures.html The site is for organizing for slideshows in PS3 but is valid also for burning to CD Gord On Tue, 30 Sep 2008 00:27:02 -0700, Louise <Louise@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >Have just downloaded recent holiday photos and have renamed each photo with >caption.
