Guest Cyborg Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Hi, I can't seem to delete 5 folders that sit in my recycle bin, they all say their size is 0 KB's. If any other files are deleted and added to the recycle bin then I can delete them. If I try to empty the recycle bin I get the error: "Cannot remove folder <name>:cannot find specified file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name" Any ideas?

Guest Ron Badour Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Re: Can't empty recycle bin Can you restore the folders to their original location? If so, hold down the shift key when deleting them and this will bypass the recycle bin. If no go on that, see if this article helps: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=320081 -- Regards Ron Badour MS MVP Windows Desktop Experience "Cyborg" <apollo13@btinternet.com> wrote in message news:61C8ABE9-84CB-4CD5-A23D-36D5E34DF1AE@microsoft.com... > Hi, > > I can't seem to delete 5 folders that sit in my recycle bin, they all say > their size is 0 KB's.
