windows 10 Laptop internet speed slower than friends laptop on same newtork

Here's the deal. I'm using a 2019 Origin built laptop. Called like an Evo 16 or something. This is a $2500 laptop.My friend, has like a $600 ROG laptop, same year. Both systems are windows 10.Just got my new wifi network setup (spectrum), and I thought it was odd that for a total of 1000mbps that I bought, I'm only getting about 50 mbps download speed.My friend connects his little rink-a-dink laptop to the network on top of mine, and he's getting 600mbps, 100 mbps minimum.I went ahead and checked the drivers for my internet adapters and everything said it as up to date.
