Bev Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I use to print fine on my old printer, which no longer works and now need to print off my laptop. Problem is someone used the disc to press on when writing a telephone number down and the laptop will not read the disc now. I have tried to download off the internet but cannot get it right. Please help, I am desperate. Quote
Plastic Nev Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Hi and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help. I found a source for the drivers file here= http://www.siliconguide.com/drivers/device/86/ I assume it is for the Windows XP operating system, so choose that one and follow the instructions. If that proves to work let us know or not please. If not you may have to ask Lexmark to send a new disk. There may be a small charge for that though. Nev. Quote Need help with your computer problems? KenB Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 I would be inclined to remove the old drivers first. You should be able to do this from Add / Remove Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
