I have a shared folder setup - I can map to this and log in with a

local user on the server, I want to setup permissions so the user can

write/copy files but cannot delete the folder or folders that are in

the share...

What is the correct model to do this? I can't seem to get this to work

the way I want to.. this is server 2003 standard edition..

Thanks!

Hello haganahtrainer@gmail.com,

You have to use the advanced tab under security and go there to the account/group

you like to modify. Here you can choose the APPLY ONTO field and choose to

"this folder" and check/uncheck the needed options for it. Then add the user/group

again and choose "subfolders and files". Just test it out this way.

Best regards
