gpmc.msc won't install

[Guest hpoincare]

The first time I tried to install, it prompted me to install microsoft .NET

Framework. I downloaded and installed Microsoft .NET Framework and then again

tried to install gpmc.msc.

 

It still prompted me to install Microsoft .NET Framework even though I just

installed this. Has anyone experienced this?

What version? I think it wants 1.1.

What OS are you using? On my 2003 servers i have installed .Net 2.0 SP1 and

3.0 SP1.

After installing the 1.1 version of .NET it worked - Thanks!

Most welcome. .NET versions are confusing to many because 2 sounds like an

upgrade to 1.1, which it isn't. They're totally different things.

Thanks for the help - I did get it to work with .NET 1.1 on Win2003 server.

Working just fine now.
