KenB Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Hi and welcome to ExTS The specs for your machine suggest that your motherboard is a microATX ( small form factor ) This will limit the choice of Video Card. from the Acer Site: PCI Express® 2.0 x16 graphics card support (low-profile) It looks as if you will need to select a low profile ( smaller build ) Video Card. If you are upgrading the Video Card ( depending on your choice ) you may well need to upgrade the PSU also in order to cope with the new power requirements. I suspect that, at the moment, you will have something like 300Watts. 32 bit systems only support up to 4GB RAM of which about 3.5 GB is used by the system. If this system wasn't built for gaming generally there is little you can do to bring it up to gaming spec. KenB Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Hi, Take a look here: http://www.squidoo.com/best-low-profile-video-graphics-cards-for-gaming-2011-pci-express 220 Watts will probably not be suitable for most of these. No prices are given so you will need to Google the cards for price and specs. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
