Guest hamsatuk Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Hi Whenever I open another window in IE by clicking on a link the new window always opens half of its normal size as opposed to full size. How can I rectify this problem please. TIA
Guest penciline Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 RE: Help with Minimized windows in IE Do you have a specific cascading style sheet applied to control the display of all new pages? If so, this might be overriding the default display of the webpage as the author had intended it to be shown. Also, it could be that in your last IE session you had a window open to that half-size and closed out the session. In your new session you may have resized the window but never "saved" the window size by closing the session. So all new windows will open to the small size of your last "saved" session -- -=- penciline -=- "hamsatuk" wrote: > Hi Whenever I open another window in IE by clicking on a link the new > window always opens half of its normal size as opposed to full size. > How can I rectify this problem please. > TIA >
Guest Alan Edwards Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Re: Help with Minimized windows in IE Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize) Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the size next time. ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP Windows -Internet Explorer On Wed, 01 Oct 2008 10:00:36 +0100, in microsoft.public.windowsxp.general, hamsatuk <hamsatuk@hotmail.com> wrote: >Hi Whenever I open another window in IE by clicking on a link the new >window always opens half of its normal size as opposed to full size. >How can I rectify this problem please. >TIA
