Olly92oe Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 hey I bought starcraft 2 and it is constantly lagging when I play, I have defragged the HDD and Ive cleaned up my system a couple times but it still continues to lag and i was wondering whether there is a way round it to play it without upgrading my PC? It is 4 years old but it runs other games really well but starcraft 2 doesn't work like it should. KenB Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Hi and welcome to ExTS We are not a gaming forum so advice may be limited. Take a look here and see what this says about your system and that specific game: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! drdoalot Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 What other games are you running? Starcraft 2 is relatively demanding on your system. Are you trying to run on high graphics? It might help to turn them down, turn off shadows and anti-aliasing etc... An upgrade would be the logical step, but if you want to avoid that then it seems like you've covered the bases. Make sure you're not running a bunch of unecessary processes in the background is the only other piece of advice I can give you. Quote
