I have a Toshiba Satellite L300D-01N, Model No: PSLC8C-01N019 and I am

downgrading to XP Pro from Vista. I have formatted the hard drive then tried

to boot with my XP Pro that already has SATA drivers as I had created it

earlier but I get this Stop Error 0X0000007B (0XF78D2524, 0XC0000034). Would

I need different drivers for the hard drive???

Thanks in advance for the help.

Nass is on the right track. You will need to get the SATA Drivers for your

machine to install XP. You will have to place them on a flash drive and use

the F6 option during the setup to install 3rd party drivers to get your SATA

drive recognized by the XP Setup to install.

As nass also said can go into your BIOS and set the SATA Drive fucntion from

ACHI to IDE mode. This should allow you to install without the SATA Drivers.
