My computer just shutdown during a night, couple of days ago and would not start up again, no post, just fans were spinning and hdd and power lights came on. So I took out my PCIe graphic card and connected my lcd to on board video and pc would keep restarting no post again. So i got new ram put it in and on windows 7 welcome screen My PC would restart and keep restarting in an infinite loop. Then I tried to re-install my Win but PC would restart on completion and keep restarting in infinite loop, then I entered safe mode during windows installation and disabled my video driver and windows completed installation, but after re-enabling drivers it would restart again on welcome screen. I tried re-installing several drivers from my mobo manufacturer and flashing BIOS but to no succes. Any help would be welcome.

Check

- if you use SATA HDD verify whether it’s in compatible mode or in AHCI mode.

- check with only one RAM.

- Check the termperature of the CPU and graphics card. verify also the graphics card's fan.

Hi and welcome to ExTS

would not start up again, no post

If you are still getting "no POST" then I suggest that you follow the tutorial I wrote on the subject.

see here:

No POST usually indicates a PSU or m/board problem.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
