Guest Jazzer Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 I use the Choose Details menu in Windows Exploer detail view to add extra columns showing information held in the File Properties fields of individual files. Most work as expected, however there are a few that don't: eg Keywords, Company. They show blank, even if there is some content in the field (using Word documents as an example). Some fields in the Summary and in Custom Properties don't appear in the Chooser list: eg Manager, and even if you create a custom property to match these or any of the other options in the Chooser, they still appear blank. Is this just a "feature" of Windows / Office? Perhaps someone has some tricks to make this work better - which would be very useful ! Regards to all, sorry for long question, -- Jazzer
