Guest SRadmin Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Here are the specs. Windows XP Pro SP3 I am tring to setup a scheduled task and I get this error ....the account information could not be set. The specific error is: 0x80070057: The perameter is incorrect. All of the updates for this computer have been done. The permissions for the Administrative Tools tools under the All Users \ Start menu are all correct. The Administrator account and the *User* account both have passwords set. From all my research to date say that the Microsoft hotfix and SP2 should have resolved this issue. The KB refering to this issue seem to have been pulled as the SP should have fixed the problem. When I downloaded the hotfix and ran it the fix tells me that the SP has been installed and it will not run the fix. Any ideas where to go next?
