Win XP

Is it possible to add to the menu which appears when the mouse is right

clicked?

It would be very useful if an entry on this menu was "Insert (my) E-mail

Address"

You must first decide what context menus that you wish to add a new entry

for.

In exactly what kind of situations would you be using this?

Your context menu contents, by definition, change wherever you are clicking.

Sounds like you want to add an "autotext" entry...you can do this in Word,

but I don't know how else you could accomplish it.

It's the context menu that appears when any web page is clicked.

There may be easier ways to insert an email address (like a clipboard

enhancer, e.g. Clipmate) but read this for your question:

Adding Entries to the Standard Context Menu:

I could make it for you, but I need to know exactly

what you want to do.

My guess, so far:

In Internet Explorer I want to right-click on a link

in a web page and . . .

Doesn't make sense, please clarify.

Using what? IE? Where on a webpage? A form?

Check out the Google Toolbar - it has an "autofill" feature for forms.

Oh, I think I've got it!

You want to right-click inside a form space in Internet Explorer

to insert your E-mail address, right?

Re: Right Click Menu

Frequently when using web pages/sites, particularly when form filling, an

e-mail address is required.

It would be very convenient to right click in the appropriate box and for

the resulting context menu to have

"E-mail Address" in addition to the usual undo, cut, copy, paste and select

all.

Hope this clarifies.

You might have more luck if you visit the notion of "keyboard macros."

OK - so I guessed correctly. I don't know how you could do this. Try the
