Poor performance from thin clients

I have a 2003 standard server running terminal services in application mode

that has been in place for about 3 years. In the past week or so the client

has been complaining of poor performance, laggy screen display, etc. This is

only happening from sessions initiated on a thin client, sessions using a PC

and Remote Desktop Connection software are fine.

 

This appears to be sporadic and can be temporarily resolved by either

rebooting the thin clients with the issue, or in at least a few instances,

rebooting the network switch the thin clients are connect via.

 

Performance stats on the terminal server look fine, very low CPU usage,

plenty of available memory, disk space, etc. and , again, performance from

PC's running remote desktop are not affected.

 

Contacting the thin client vendor (Wyse) as well to see what they have to

say. Any thoughts would be appreciated, running out of things to check.

That was my first thought too, did that and still have the issue, failed to

mention that earlier.
