Share Drive C on Windows 2003

Frightening thought, I know, however:

This machine is a busy file server. I run a network virus scanner from

another machine. I need to provide access to drive C on the file server to

the virus scanner, but Win 2003 won't let me share drive C. How do I share

drive C on Win 2003 please?

Kind Regards

Yep - you really don't want to do this.

Hmmm. If this is a file server, why doesn't it have a local client (realtime

protection)?

It's already shared as an admin share - direct your other server to

\\server\c$

Thank you Lanwench. The server does have real-time protection. I am running a

complete system scan from another machine.
