Guest Jennifer Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Frightening thought, I know, however: This machine is a busy file server. I run a network virus scanner from another machine. I need to provide access to drive C on the file server to the virus scanner, but Win 2003 won't let me share drive C. How do I share drive C on Win 2003 please? Kind Regards Jennifer

If this is a file server, why doesn't it have a local client (realtime protection)? > I need to provide access to drive C on the file > server to the virus scanner, but Win 2003 won't let me share drive C. > How do I share drive C on Win 2003 please? Guest Jennifer Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Re: Share Drive C on Windows 2003 Thank you Lanwench. The server does have real-time protection. I am running a complete system scan from another machine.
