Guest kaiao Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 Well my cd rom and xp disk is fine just when it loads the setup it stopped after started kernal giving error message " line 55 not found bla bla" I couldn't continue the setup process and i can't startup windows so could anyone tell me how to format or reinstall the windows

Just saying "my cd rom and xp disk is fine [sic]" isn't precise enough. Did you test them? If indeed you did test them and they really are fine, some other hardware component is failing.
