trouble with virginmediamail

Hi..Ive just had virgin broadband installed..the media/home page is great. However, when i try and access the email page I get the virgin page trying to load, and a second page with google.com/a/virginmedia.com/acs trying to load at the same time-the 2 pages keep flashing between each other. Tech guy at virgin just decided to delete my browser and change to aol (dont like it), as he hadnt seen this problem before. tried deleting google.com in cookies, but it still happens..can anyone help please????

I have the same problem on my wife's laptop with Firefox but no problem with IE. My PC works well with both browsers.
