started makeing a noise now keeps turning itself off and on, please help, old PC but its my only entertainment source.

started with a loud 'struggling' noise now switches itself off and on. Please help

Hi, I moved this to here to save people getting confused with two threads on the same subject.

First can you be a little more descriptive of the sound you heard, secondly, how far into the start sequence does it go before going off again, in other words does it get far enough to show something on screen? If so what does it show?

Next but not last, please tell us all you know about the computer, make and model, ETC.

Desktop or laptop ?

 

If desktop take the side off and make sure that the fans are not catching on anything.

 

As Nev says - a bit more information would help :)

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
