Guest Bill Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Seems like the normal function of the "CTRL ALT DELETE" key stroke has changed. Before when they are used it brought up a screen with three tabs. Now it only brings up one screen. Its the END PROCESS screen listing all proceses running with the % used by each program. The top tab with the simple list of open programs and the third tab are gone. Can anyone explain what happened?

Is this OS upgraded from an older version by chance?

Guest Mick Murphy Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 RE: CTRL ALT DELETE Bill, just double click on the border of that Task Mmanager to bring it back to normal mode. You have it in diminished mode. -- Mad Mike "Bill" wrote: > Seems like the normal function of the "CTRL ALT DELETE" key stroke has > changed. You're talking about the Task Manager? No, it hasn't changed. > Before when they are used it brought up a screen with three tabs. > Now it only brings up one screen. To change back and forth from this mode to regular mode, just double-click on the border. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP - Windows Desktop Experience Please Reply to the Newsgroup
