Insufficient system resources to load user profile

We are running Server 2003 R2 SP2 running Active Directory and as one of

domain admins on the network, I get the message when I login to this domain

controller via Remote Desktop.

Windows cannot load the User profile but has

logged you on with the default profile for

the system.

Detail - insufficient system resources exist

to, Complete the requested services.

I've been looking for a solution to this and found KB article 935649 but I

don't think this applies since this machine is not used as a Terminal Server.

Is there any other possible solution as to why I get this message when I

login? Is it AD not properly authenticating me or is it a TS problem? Please

help. Any suggesions and/or recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Insufficient system resources to load user profile

Hello Archi3,

Is the DC also Terminal server in application mode or remote administration

mode? Do you use roaming profiles for the admin accounts?

Also check this one:
