FTP Error 501 Specified Object Name Too Long

I'm in the process of writing an FTP script in SQL but while I am doing this

I am testing my commands directly in the Command Prompt. When I attempt to

run an mput or put command for my file I get a FTP Error: 501 Specified

Object Name Too Long, limit is 10 Characters.

 

Does anyone know how can I FTP files that have a file name of more than 10

characters? These files are 12 characters long and I don't have any way

around that. TIA!
