Hi Gavin

Download speccy from here: (the free version)

http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download

Run it when playing the games and post the temperatures here.

there is no fan under her psu

There is usually an exhaust fan on the PSU - strange if it doesn't have one at all.

we did just change her processor fan

Why was this necessary?

It could be due to this - the temps will tell us.

Hi

The m/board temp looks high.

(Mine is 43 C at the moment - not playing games though)

Try taking the side panel off ( if a desktop ) and run speccy again.

Let me know the temps now.

That has taken the HDD and Graphics down a bit - but the CPU & m/board are still high.

You say you changed the processor fan - why was this ?

The thermal paste should have been removed ( rubbing alcohol ) from the surfaces before applying a very thin layer.

Was this done?

i only took the fan of as a blade on it had snaped abit and was makin sounds. doesnt the paste go under the metal thing u screw the processor fan on to?

Hi if by metal thing, you mean the heat sink, then if that has been removed, it should be cleaned and new paste applied before fitting it back.

If you have or even haven't disturbed it, it is still a good idea to replace the thermal compound anyway. I would certainly be doing it if I was having such high temperature issues as your are.

There are many tutorial video's on how best to clean off the old paste and replace it with new paste, this guy shows a good way to do it.

Though you will see there are many other video's in the right hand listing on the Youtube page.
