Whenever I try to view a photo in a folder with the Photo app, if I hit the right arrow it goes back to the first picture not the next...

Whenever I try to view a photo in a folder with the Photo app, if I hit the right arrow it goes back to the first picture of the folder instead of the next picture of the sequence, for example, if the folder has 100 pics and I open the pic #50 if I hit the right arrow I expect it to show me the pic #51 but instead, it goes all the way back to pic #1 which is very annoying. Is there a way to fix that?
