This means your e-mail client is configured to try and send e-mail to another e-mail server (A) from an ISP or network (B) that does not allow you to send e-mail through it. You can't send e-mail to server A while on network B and vice versa. This is called relaying and is banned by most ISP everywhere. - Thee Chicago Wolf

You are not on the network where are the mail hosts to which you are connecting. That is, you are off-domain of the mail hosts. They haven't a clue who you are or if you are authorized to use their resources. Go into your UNIDENTIFIED e-mail client and configure the account defined therein to authenticate to their SMTP mail host.

From the remote server. Nothing in any operating system will cause this error. Using a server one is not authorized to use will. You may need to do something as simple as select, "My server requires authentication" in your email client; or as complex as using a different message submission server, with appropriate changes in the "From:" field. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum
