Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 — now available for pre-order on the Microsoft Store — will launch in a variety of editions on Nov. 19. The Standard Edition will be available on day one with Game Pass. Over at Xbox Wire, editor Mike Nelson is your guide to a deep dive into the latest version of this popular franchise, which celebrated its 40th anniversary two years ago. In MSFS 2024, you’ll see new elements such as guided paths to aviation careers, a Challenge League system and a World Photographer mode. Details have never been clearer in this digital twin of our planet, with ground enhancements, worldwide ship traffic, helipads and much more.
