Guest jim Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 My System Restore has resorted to Going thru the Normal motions , ie after a Restore point is selected;It Restarts PC ,& Resstarts ,then advises one that the restoration failed , To select another restore point.When implemented the Same result applies.For years restore was a very dependable feature.Was given this site earlier by a Helpful friend up the line. http://bertk.mvps.org/html/srfail.html.Then I Thought one was out of trouble ,but no luck.I get Attached-following directions in Said link.Am advised to Right click .the S.INF file ,then click install.One cant locate the S.inf file amongst the heaps of files in attached.
