Guest Mohammadreza Dehghan Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 what does area code rules do?.for example i create an area code rules and set 0353 as area code and choose Include all the prefixes in this area code button and check Include the area code check box and finally choose dial check box and set it to 1.what and how should i type phone number in phone dialer that translates the area code rule that i've just created?

In order for dialing rules to work correctly, phone numbers must be entered in "canonical" format.
