"MediaTech Bluetooth Adaptor" not being installed + Bluetooth Adaptor not connected

Alright, so firstly, bluetooth stopped working because my mediatech bluetooth adaptor was not working. I know this is why because it said it was disconnected and so did a bunch of other drivers that were all on the adaptor. Then I deleted it, I tried to add a new driver for the adaptor, but it installs in a weird file type (.cab), no programs are executed, and no drivers are added. Now I also cannot find the mediatech bluetooth adaptor anywhere in system, so my problems are twofold. - What am I doing wrong installing this driver?- I am worried the actual adaptor disconnected internally in the
