mij Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 The title says it all really. It was working fine but it stopped and no connection to anything. I thought it was just a matter of clicking and reconnecting but it cannot see any of the routers or computers in this area at all. It is a Sony VA10 running Vista 32bit. The wireless switch is in the 'on' position. I have run speccy and it says wireless lan not enabled. It works fine with an ethernet cable. SWMBO says she has done nothing to bring this on........ jim Quote
mij Posted June 13, 2012 Author Posted June 13, 2012 Solved this one. The wording used by speccy reminded me somehow of device manager. Went in there and 'enabled' the wi-fi thingy. All is werky werky now  Brownie points on the way methinks. LOL jim Quote
