PowerDVD can see network folders but File Explorer doesn't

Why is it that Windows 11 is so good at breaking things? Before the latest update, I could see everything in my home network fine on all the devices. Now, the only device that shows up is the Samsung blu-ray player. All the discussions and recommendations regarding the network settings, services, etc. have already been tried. Crazier still is that PowerDVD 23 has no problem locating and accessing the shared folders and drives on the network even though Windows 11 23H2 File Explorer can't. There also is no SMB Direct to select under Windows Features. So why is it that the software can see the f
