Guest andreas.fonferek@gmail.com Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Hello, a few days ago, a strang printing issue occured. An employee working on a WinXP Pro SP2 Workstation, with a HP Color LaserJet 2550 attached via USB. She works connected with mstsc 6.0.6000 in a terminal session on Windows Server 2003. Until the error occured she could print. And suddenly she couldn't print anymore. We reinstalled the driver. But it isn't even possible to print a testing page from within the terminal session. The Dialog only tells, that it is impossible to print the testing page. Who can help me? Thanks, Andreas

Documented here: We installed exact this version. It didn't work. But then we tested another Server. Also running Windows Server 2003 at the same patch level. And it worked. Then back at the first server we installed a generic HP PCL6 Driver. It was possible to print with it. But only b&w. Then we reinstalled the driver for the LJ2550. And suddenly it worked. We think the generic driver installation process changed a file, that was broken, which the LJ2550 driver installation didn't touch. > HP Printers Supported in Citrix MetaFrame Presentation and Terminal > Server Environments > http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp? > objectID=c00213455 Thanks for this source. It could be usefull in future. Thanks for your help. Andreas
