Guest fox Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Hello, I installed my 2003 TSE server, Acrobat Reader 7 (in mode change user /install). Some users couldn't launch the reader from a webapplication under IE6. These users have a pop (the file is not good - SAVE or CANCEL....). For the others users for the same file, the reader work normaly. Didier

Are the clients trying to launch remote programs published on the TS server using a web based application in IE6? Or are the clients logged in to the TS server and they are unable to launch the reader through the web app? 2. What is the exact error message? -ram. -- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Guest fox Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Re: Issue to launch Reader from IE in TSE 2003 Hello, the scenario is the second. The clients logged in to the server and they unbale to launch the reader throught the web application with IE6. But it worked for some users and not for other. I try to modify the parameter in the reader (EDITION/PREFERENCE/INTERNET) "launch in the IE" but nothing changed. If I clicked 'launch in the navigator", there was no message, only a white page. If I unclicked this parameter, there is a pop with this message " SAVE FILE or CANCEL, the program can't identify the file type...." Same issue if I unsinstalled the reader 6 and installed it again (with restart server). So, today, with the option "change user / install", I uninstalled ACROBAT Reader 6 and installed Acrobat reader 8.2 (I read that there some issues with the version 9.0). Now, it seems that all is good. Each user can launch, in the navigator, acrobat reader. Very strange. I hope it's the good solution to fix this issue. Didier "Ramasamy Pullappan [MSFT]" wrote: > 1.
