Can't Open AsIO.sys

Hello everyone,I recently decided to try updating my BIOS without a flash drive. I followed the instructions from the ASUS support site on my motherboard (ASUS Prime Z490-A). I started the install on the AISuite3 and my computer rebooted after the install was finished. After the reboot I receive the Can't open AsIO.sys message twice. I've checked for fixes on ASUS support, reddit, and this Microsoft support site, nothing seems to work. And yes, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application. If I don't have AISuite, to my knowledge, I can't update the BIOS, and my BIOS is 2 years old
