oli Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 so basically i built my new computer and the graphics driver keeps crashing when i look at pictures, video or stream video online but it will play games like civ 5 and dead island with nivdia 3d and not crash at all, sometimes it recovers and sometimes it freezes my screen. Ive had the graphics card tested and been told its fine, ive backdated my drivers but to no avail. I took it to a computershop today and they didnt know what was wrong with it, any help would be greatly appreciated as it's been driving me crazy. pc specs motherboard: asus p8p67 graphics card: geforce gtx 550 ti power supply: coolermaster gx 750w processor: i5 2600k harddrive: wd cavalier green 800gb ram: 8gb ddr3 g.skill Quote
KenB Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Hi and welcome to ExTS I think we can discount the Video Card if you have had it tested. Do you have a spare PSU to try ?
