Guest RobertA Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 My Machine is froze about 3/4 of the way thru the sp3 install. Been sitting there for almost an hour with no movement of the progress bar. How long should I wait? What should I do with the machine? I have no data on the boot drive, it's all on D: .

Guest RobertA Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 RE: SP3 froze during install Thanks to all for the help. I let the machine set for almost 4 hours. The progress bar never moved the whole time. It seemed to be stuck in the cleanup phase. I used task manager to end the app then rebooted the machine. It seems to be running fine although Glary Utilities and Advanced Windows Care found a bunch of problems in the registry. It seems to be working fine and about windows says that SP3 is installed.
