Unable to eject external Hard drive without turning off WindowsSearch service

Hi, I am unable to eject my external hard drive (used for backup) unless I also disable Windows Search.* I have disabled indexing on the drive.* The drive is set for quick removal (No write caching etc)* My indexing is set to custom locations (Windows search settings) and does not include any locations on this drive (Indexing Options)* In the Group Policy Editor under Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Search\ I enabled "Prevent automatically adding shared folders.." and "Do not allow locations on removable drives..."* Also in Folder options I set "Don't use the index when searching i
