MS Sign In page password does not show anything when i type, nothing happens

Once i enter with my Login Id in MS Sign In page, when i am trying to enter password nothing shows up on screen. i tried using onscreen keyboard but nothing works. Currently, using via Authenticator app but need a permanent solution. Note: Cannot do reset or restore. Pls suggest if anyone was able to fix this permanently.Using Windows 10, Laptop
