windows 11 cursor moving on its own

so i bought an external monitor for my laptop i used it for like 3 days it worked fine i used it on alll modes like duplicate , extend,show 2nd screen only .But suddenly i switched to show second screeen o nly and when i closed the laptop lid the cursor on the monitor worked on its own . the cursor workd fine on rest of the modes
