No sign in options on login screen

My laptop used to work with pin, fingerprint, or facial recognition, but suddenly stopped and forces me to use my windows password each time. There is no option on the sign in page for any other options. Settings allow me to set up a pin and fingerprint as normal but doesn't allow me to sign in with them. I'm signed into my Microsoft account (not local account) and it isn't a work or school account. It's also an HP EliteBook. please give me some ideas if you can. Thanks!
