PC freezes consistently when playing videos and music

I've been having a persistent issue where my PC freezes while playing videos and music. It could be youtube, netflix, VLC or just spotify. Usually even with just one application open e.g my youtube on edge or chrome it will lose audio, and a few seconds later the whole screen freezes up. However, I am able to sustain prolonged gaming sessions without experiencing this issue. I can go for 4-5hours on a diablo 4 session without any issues, yet freeze and crash launching a youtube video just minutes after a boot up. I've been monitoring my temperatures across all parameters such as CPU, GPU etc a
