Hi Brian and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help.

Firstly I may have to remove that E Mail address if it is public. That is for your protection as spammers search for that sort of thing and will then inundate your mail with spam. If someone does get in contact, it is safest to use our Private Message system for passing addresses.

next is where best to post your problem, I would suggest posting and starting a thread in either Windows 2000 and XP, or if earlier equipment and computers, then perhaps Dos 95, 98. to ME.

Start anew thread there and tell us as much as possible, the type of program you need to run, and what computer or computers do you have at present, plus list the hardware you have for connecting to these radio's.

Nev.

Edit to add, your E Mail doesn't show to the public so all is fine.

Hi Brian and welcome to ExTS

486 is a reference to the central processor on the main board.

This was used along with Windows 95 / 98 ( it was a minimal requirement for Win98 )

You are looking for a system that was in use around 1999.

Win 95 would run with a 386 machine - so there is no guarantee if you find a Win95 machine that it is a 486 processor.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
