Wifi works fine on phone and other devices but when i turn my pc on the internet speeds die

I don't have great internet to begin with but its always worked fine. Today the net went out for a few hours and when it came back on its working fine on my phone (speed check is normally what i get). When i turn on my pc now it pretty much completely dies to kbps speeds. Any ideas?
