Mouse pointer too small in software and fine when not

I know this was already asked back in 2017, however, it was not answered for my issue. My mouse pointer becomes very small when using the CarveWright software 4 & 5. It is the correct size when I am outside the software. While pressing "F10" on the keyboard, it will change to the normal size, however, it will not stay that size unless I press F10 every time I use the mouse. CarveWright states it's a Microsoft issue - not theirs.
